      "message": "Fix invalidation bug with INVISIBLE views.\n\nThere was a bug in the invalidation code that prevented some\nanimations fropm starting. An INVISIBLE view would mark some dirty\nflags then propagate the invaliation up the parent hierarchy. This would\ncause a redraw of the hierarchy, but would not include the invisible\nview (invisible children do not get drawn). Thus the flags wouldn\u0027t get cleared.\n\nLater, an animation to fade the view in (making it VISIBLE on start) would\nbe started on the view. But the invalidation triggered by that animation would\nnot propagate because the invisible view would see that it was already\ninvalidated, and wouldn\u0027t send the message along. No invalidation means no drawing,\nso the animation wouldn\u0027t start because the invalidation didn\u0027t make it\u0027s way up to the\ntop and the child\u0027s parent did not redraw.\n\nThe fix is to noop the invalidate() call for GONE/INVISIBLE views which do not\nhave animations set on them. Making these views VISIBLE later will trigger\nan invalidation, as will starting an animation on them, so the behavior should\nnot change except for the buggy situation.\n\nChange-Id: I7a26a4bc7823f08fef56e52648e77ca256df6858\n"

      "message": "Fix 4993068: Don\u0027t check password history when dpm sets the password\n\nThis fixes a crash caused by permission problems when we try to update\nthe password history and discover there\u0027s no password salt.  The code\nattempts to create the salt, which triggers the exception.\n\nThis could be fixed by wrapping the call with a clearCallingIdentity()/\nrestoreCallingIdentity(ident).  However, while looking at it, it occurred to me\nthat this can cause unexpected failures if the DPM tries to set the\npassword twice or happens to set it to something in the password history.\n\nInstead, we should *always* allow the DPM to reset the password to whatever it wants,\nprovided it passes the minimum password criteria.\n\nChange-Id: I1505b24f9c097ee5c2c44e4bf378ba90095b113b\n"

      "message": "Fix 5026428: Rework unlock attempt logic with active DPM to show better messages\n\nPrior to this change, we didn\u0027t have a mechanism to warn the user when\nthey were approaching the wipe data threshold dictated by active DPMs.\n\nHere\u0027s the new flow:\n\n- If a device policy manager is installed and sets the max\npassword attempts, we start warning the user when they are within\na grace period of hitting the max (currently hard-wired to 5).\n\n- We continue to show a dialog after each continued attempt\nuntil the user reaches 0 remaining attempts.\n\n- We now show a message when they hit 0 so they know why their device is\nbeing reset.  The device will reboot and wipe data shortly after this final\ndialog is shown.\n\nAlso increased the criteria for a pattern attempt from 3 dots to 4 dots\nsince the user can never set a pattern less than 4 in length.       "message": "Input system bug fixes, particularly for stylus.\nBug: 5049148\n\nFinished stylus support, including support for indirect stylus\nand mouse tools.\n\nAdded TILT axis.  When stylus tilt X/Y is available, it is transformed\ninto an orientation and tilt inclination which is a more convenient\nrepresentation and a simpler extension to the exiting API.\n\nTouch devices now only report touch data using a single input\nsource.  Previously touch devices in pointer mode would report\nboth absolute touch pad data and cooked pointer gestures.\nNow we just pick one.  The touch device switches modes as needed\nwhen the focused application enables/disables pointer gestures.\nThis change greatly simplifies the code and reduces the load\non the input dispatcher.\n\nFixed an incorrect assumption that the value of ABS_(MT_)DISTANCE\nwould be zero whenever the stylus was in direct contact.  It appears\nthat the correct way to determine whether the stylus is in direct\ncontact (rather than hovering) is by checking for a non-zero\nreported pressure.\n\nAdded code to read the initial state of tool buttons and axis values\nwhen the input devices are initialized or reset.  This fixes\nproblems where the input mapper state might have the wrong initial\nstate.\n\nMoved responsibility for cancelling pending inputs (keys down,\ntouches, etc.) to the InputDispatcher by sending it a device reset\nnotification.  This frees the InputReader from having to synthesize\nevents during reset, which was cumbersome and somewhat brittle\nto begin with.\n\nConsolidated more of the common accumulator logic from\nSingleTouchInputMapper and MultiTouchInputMapper into\nTouchInputMapper.\n\nImproved the PointerLocation output.\n\nChange-Id: I595d3647f7fd7cb1e3eff8b3c76b85043b5fe2f0\n"
