Depending on call sequence\nan application may unintentionally trigger a routing use case it\ndoes not want.\nThe main root cause is that neither of these calls take the\nprevious state into account.       "message": "Improve transient bar transitions.\n\n1. If app clears transient flag w/ a gesture, the touch-outside\nlistener would always win, causing an unsightly hide + immediate\nreshow.  Instead, give the app some time to clear the flag, then\nperform a smooth transition in place.\n\n2. When the transient bars are hidden, we do not know ahead of time\nwhich background will be used on reshow (if transient bars are\nrevealed, the background is semi-transparent, if transient bars\nare cleared, the background is opaque).  Window manager is responsible\nfor showing windows, but sysui is responsible for setting the view\nbackground.  Therefore, we need some level of coordination between\nthe two in this case.  Introduce two new non-public sysui flags\nthat represent the window manager\u0027s request to reshow the hidden\nbars, but do not reshow until sysui acknowledges (by clearing the flag).\nThis gives sysui whatever time is necessary to prepare itself for\nreshow, avoiding unsightly blip from opaque -\u003e transparent during\nthe enter animation.\n\n3. When both system bars are hidden, any low-profile changes are\nmoot.  Avoid unsightly low-profile animations during bar reshow\nby suppressing the flag in this case.\n\n4. Improve transient bar home -\u003e launcher transition by cancelling\nthe -\u003e opaque animation.
