However, in practice, that is not the case.\n\nRather than changing the behaviour to follow the existing documentation,\nchange documentation to conform to the existing behaviour. The rationale\nhere is that changing the behaviour might mean that some apps would\nstart relying on getRepeatCount() being non-zero. But this would only\nwork on the latest Android release. I\u0027m updating the internal variable names and adding\ndocumentation to make the behavior clearer.
