      "message": "[DO NOT MERGE] Prevent crash from early Toast surface destruction.\n\nTo understand this change it\u0027s first helpful to review Toasts.\nThe ViewRoot is constructed on the client side, but it\u0027s added,\nto a window token controlled by the NotificationManagerService.\nWhen we call NotificationManagerService#cancelToast, the system\nwill remove this window token. With the window token removed,\nthe WindowManager needs to destroy the surface to prevent orphaned\nwindows. If we destroy the Surface before removing the toast on the\nclient side however, we\u0027ve never asked the ViewRoot to stop rendering\nand we could have a crash.
